What can Tixel treat?

Tixel can be used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, skin textures, skin laxity, crepey skin, and acne scarring. It is especially popular for the upper and lower eye areas, where it can help smooth and refresh delicate skin without surgery. It is also suitable for the whole face, neck, hands, décolletage, and around the mouth.
This treatment is suitable for a wide range of skin types and ages. During your consultation, Sonia will advise whether Tixel is the right option for your skin concerns and goals.
How does Tixel treatment work?

Tixel uses heated pyramid-shaped tips that briefly touch the skin to create controlled micro-injuries. This process supports skin renewal and collagen stimulation, making the skin look smoother, fresher and more refined as it heals.
Treatment is quick, and the intensity can be adjusted depending on the area being treated and the result you want to achieve. Stronger treatments may be recommended for concerns such as smokers’ lines, deeper wrinkles, crepey undereye skin and overall skin coarseness.
Please note that consent and medical history forms will be sent to you prior to treatment.
Why choose Tixel skin resurfacing?

Tixel is a fractional skin resurfacing treatment used in clinics across the UK and internationally. Patients often choose it to improve visible signs of ageing, refine skin texture and target delicate areas such as the upper and lower eyes.
Compared with more aggressive resurfacing options, Tixel is often chosen for its combination of visible results, lower discomfort and shorter downtime. For stronger treatments, it is normal to see temporary redness and a light grid pattern/micro-crusting while the skin heals.
Tixel can also be used as part of advanced rejuvenation plans for concerns including eye-area ageing, skin texture changes and acne scarring. Your treatment plan will depend on the condition of your skin, the area being treated and the result you want to achieve.

Tixel with the trainer touch protocol
As a Tixel trainer for the past 10 years, I do an advanced ‘trainer protocol’, which means a more targeted & superior treatment with more depth & results (meaning a little more downtime, but it works out considerably better value as fewer treatments are required to get the final outcome & results last 2 years or more.
